Over £600 raised in one night!
Outside no 67 Egerton Road Judy Green raised £100 for butterfly conservation by selling Butterfly Cakes!! The money will go to the botanical garden and to raise awareness for butterfly friendly plants.
Also Dale the Dalek, resident of Thornleigh Road for several years, raised over £500 that night for Childrens Hospice Southwest! Thank you to everyone who donated and sponsored Lucy and many others who sat in their swimming costumes that night! It was really not that cold…
Dale was created from the imagination of Carol and Keith Walker. They change his surroundings yearly. It was Bristol City Council last year.
This year is the “Deck Chair Challenge” with seaside surroundings, but this time, Keith and Carol Walker are using Dale to help raise money for a very important charity: Children’s Hospice South West.
